Why NOT London? London has everything you could ask for: cozy pubs, upscale restaurants, theaters new (Piccadilly) and old (Shakespeare's Globe), and a skyline with more iconic structures than many countries.

What to Do
Starting with the top tourist destinations and working toward the less obvious, there is more to do in London than anyone could accomplish in one visit!
Big Ben
Westminster Abbey
London Eye
A fixture in the London skyline, the London Eye is a large ferris wheel providing views of all of London proper.
Tower Bridge
Often confused to be London Bridge, Tower bridge is right next to the Tower of London and is the more ornate of the two. It is an iconic symbol of the city, known for its distinctive Victorian Gothic architecture and its ability to open to allow larger vessels to pass.
Tower of London
The Tower of London is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London, known for its rich history as a royal palace, fortress, and prison. Today, it serves as a tourist attraction, housing the Crown Jewels and providing insights into British history.
Fun fact: The Tower of London used to be home to London’s only polar bear, chained outside the walls so that it could swim in the Thames.
Buckingham Palace
Covent Garden
Kingly Court
Shakespeare’s Globe
Shakespeare's Globe in London is a modern reconstruction of the original Globe Theatre, where many of William Shakespeare's plays were performed in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. It serves as both a working theater and a museum, offering visitors a glimpse into Shakespeare's world and the cultural history of that era. See plays like Othello or Macbeth in either the bench seating or middle standing room. Note that standing for the entire play may be tiring after a long day of walking, so it may be worth springing for seats.

Abbey Road Album Cover
Farther away from some other options that are listed above, but a must-stop for Beatles’ lovers. (Safely) walk across the cross walk where the Beatles’ took the picture for the Abbey Road album cover, just a block from the Abbey Road Studios where the Beatles recorded 42 songs!
Sky Garden
View all of London from the 40th floor of Sky Garden
F1 Arcade London
Maybe unlike the other recommendations here, but this was a unique experience for a large group outing. Providing an experience for F1 racing like Top Golf provides for golf, this was a fun night activity with bar food, cocktails, and competitive games to play with friends.
Where to Eat
Borough Market
A popular spot for a grab-and-go meal while walking through London, Borough Market has plenty of options to choose from. While some more recently popular dishes are the chocolate covered strawberries, wild mushroom risotto, or the duck confit sandwiches, the Borough Market has allegedly existed since at least 1014AD!
Duck & Waffle
Duck & Waffle London offers a unique dining experience with stunning views from its 40th-floor location.
Amaya Grill & Bar
Brick Lane Brasserie
Take a walk down Brick Lane and decide which Indian restaurant is best for you, but we have found Brick Lane Brasserie to be the best option for our taste. While walking down the street, you should be prepared to negotiate with the restaurant staff as you walk by to get the best deal such as free appetizers, cheaper entrees, or included drinks.

We have been drawn back to Tattu on multiple trips due to the great food and desserts (pictured) along with the atmosphere, as if tucked away in the cherry blossoms.
